The essence of hotel management education at The Hospitality School is balancing business and management education with a thorough grounding in all practical aspects of the hotel industry. The trainees rotate between front office operations, culinary, food and beverage service. With our training kitchen and restaurant, trainees develop attention to detail to match the work standards found in the world’s top hotels.
While the practical training plays a very important role in preparing trainees for management roles in the industry, there is also a strong emphasis on business subjects throughout the course. Trainees receive a strong business management education, particularly in the areas of accounting, leadership and management, human resource management, sales and marketing and planning and controls. All of which ensure graduates are capable of not just running hotels, but also of managing the business of hotels.
